Meeting Preview - 18th June 2006 12 Jun 2006

Cornwall Solo Grass Track Club look forward to the fourth of seven meetings planned at Truthan Farm, St Erme on Sunday (18th June) with a 43 race program.

In the solo classes local 500cc riders Adrian Rowe and Wayne Barrett will be looking for class honours while club regulars Gavin Horsburgh, Andrew Cocker, Shaun Pascoe and Steve Pearce should all feature strongly. The entry is again boosted with Plymouth Devils speedway rider Lee Smart who was unbeaten at the clubs May meeting. Also in the line up will be John Weeks and Jody Hodgeson from Bristol and female speedway & grasstrack rider Jessica Lamb from Poole.

In the 1000cc Sidecar class 9 outfits will take to the track, with St Dennis's Jamie Bree looking to build on his debut win last time. He will be joined by local drivers Joseph Sturtridge, Lee Hicks, Wayne Westaway & Stephen Palmer. Out of county competitors include Neal Owen on his rare Godden powered machine, Ricky McAuley & Tim Warren.

A strong youth entry promises plenty of close racing.

The venue will be signposted from the A30 Carland Cross Roundabout. Admission is £6 for Adults, £3 for Senior Citizens and Children Under 14 Free. Practice starts at 11.30am with racing at 1pm. Refreshments and Toilets will be available on site during the day.
