British Qulifier - Sidercar Engine Measurement 24 Jul 2004

Matthew Tyrrell/Shaun Yates, winners of the Masters Sidecar Qualifier have had their engine measured by ACU technical representative Dick Sullivan and it passed with flying colours at 997cc.
Former Cornish Champion Ken Hicks who is responsible for the engine commented “ It shows they don’t have to be oversize to be quick” and Matthews father Chris, himself a former National runner added “ Pity they don’t check a few more. What happened to the one to be selected at random”.
